CFPHE Adds Value to the State of Colorado CFPHE has worked for public health and the environment in Colorado for 13 years. Seventy five percent of projects managed by CFPHE have been associated with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. There are more than 300 graduates of the Advanced Leadership Training Program of CFPHE’s Regional Institute for Health and Environmental Leadership. Graduates have completed leadership projects throughout a three state area. The scope of activities supported by the CFPHE spans the field of public health: Injury Prevention Dental Health Antibiotic resistance Food Safety Diabetes Heart Disease Cancer Women’s Health CFPHE has managed over $ 1.5 million in funds from a variety of organizations. CFPHE has promoted public health in Colorado by endorsing and contributing to state ballot initiatives. CFPHE instituted and facilitates the Don Hoagland Scholarship Fund for advanced leadership training. CFPHE is helping to advance the Colorado School of Public Health. |
